My previous car buying experiences were stressful and after an unsuccessful experience at a different dealership here in Austin I was worried, but that changed when I came to First Texas Honda! Pito Sosa was super helpful and answered all of our questions and got me into exactly the car I wanted! The car was priced very well for what I got too! We came to the dealership a little before they closed and decided to come back the next business day to finalize all the paperwork and the staff was super accommodating, which we really appreciated! I had gone to another Honda dealership and had an awful experience so I had called around to 4 other Honda dealerships that same night and left voicemails of the quote that I got asking if they could beat it. Anthony Raglin was the only one who called me back first thing in the morning and asked to see my quote and then went to searching for what I wanted! Throughout the entire day from morning until I got off work he kept updating me on everything and even stayed late to show me the car. Anthony made everything super painless and I ended up purchasing the car that same evening- took me about 2 hours from meeting with him, test driving, meeting the accessories department and finance. Krissy King in the accessories department was really sweet and patiently explained everything to me and I enjoyed negotiating with her. Chris Ray in finance was also super enjoyable to talk to and explained to me all the additional coverages I could get and broke everything down well for me. Now the only thing I have an issue with is this charge I saw once I opened up the USB drive I got after purchasing- it says I paid $205 (plus tax) for the ceramic tint when nobody ever told me I was paying for that. Krissy explained to me that I couldn't pick the front 2 window's tint but I could pick whatever I wanted for the back as that was included- apparently it was included because I was paying for it. I have helped my friends and family (and bought one myself) brand new Toyotas and every single dealership tints for free so never did it occur to me that I would be nickled and dimed for basic window tint- don't love that. I also asked Chris to see a breakdown of the accessories and vehicle msrp printout the way that I have seen Toyota dealerships have and I kept being told that I would get it on a USB drive- also, asked Joseph An when I handed over my cashier's check for that same page so I can see it and was told it'll be on the USB drive. Overall almost perfect purchasing experience but wish there was more visibility and transparency into the costs as I only saw the paper showing the MSRP, tax etc once at the very beginning with Anthony and then never again. I paid for partial tinting here and would've rather taken that $205 + tax and gone to my go to guy and put that towards getting my entire car tinted. (Also, I have a couple bubbles in my front passenger window tint and it is driving me crazy so there is also that). —— Update to my review as of 6.8.26 I picked up my car on 6.6.26 and Anthony told me he would send over the details of CAG service centers and I even followed up with a text that same afternoon and never heard back from him but apparently he can call me on 6.8.26 to interrogate me on and I quote “you gave me a bad review”- MIND YOU my original review which you can see above said nothing bad about him at all and was originally a 4-star review. To insult me and say I gave you a “bad review” when I did no such thing is rude and to say that he wants to hear it from me on why I gave my review the way I did- READ what I said about the tint which was my only complaint about the lack of transparency on the pricing. Now I actually do have a problem with Anthony and the lack of professionalism displayed in calling me without even sending me the CAG locations first even but instead to accuse me of a bad review. To say you want to make things right but then to call me to accuse me to my face about leaving a bad review and then still not even refunding the tint is actually insane. I guess all Honda salesman are the same so pick your poison. ——- Update 6.8.26 Tyler Bright apparently watches the reviews like a hawk as I was quickly contacted regarding my experience and was offered a resolution regarding the tint and the bubbling. He did not have to go out of his way to make things right but he did and I do think that going forward that if a customer asks for a print-out they will receive one. I do think Anthony is still a good salesperson who just needs to work on his outreach calls- hopefully with some retraining this won’t happen again.

I had a great experience at this Honda dealership. Colton Rose was the best. He kept in contact with me the whole time, was easy-mannered, friendly, and very helpful. Everything was transparent except for the bonus at the end—a car wash! I got a deal on an oil change and they provided me with a video of a check on the major specs of my car. They are honest and care about their customers’ satisfaction. Will come back again!

I'm definitely happy with the service here and appreciate any business thats willing to rectify a bad interaction. 10/10 would recommend. ---------------------- I purchased my 2019 Honda Civic from First Texas Honda in March/April, and while I genuinely like the car itself, the overall purchasing experience has been a huge disappointment. I want to be fair and say that the people at the dealership were nice. Rex, my salesperson, was pleasant to work with, and the dealership does have some thoughtful touches, including the coffee bar, which I thought was a really nice addition to the customer experience. On the surface, First Texas Honda feels like the kind of place where you should be able to purchase a vehicle with confidence. Unfortunately, that confidence did not match the reality of my experience after the sale. One of the main reasons I chose to purchase from a dealership was because I wanted peace of mind. I did not want to buy a car and immediately have to worry about basic things like tires, detailing, floor mats, lights, or warning indicators. I expected the vehicle to be clean, properly inspected, and ready to drive without immediate concerns. That was not the case. When the car was given to me, the floor mats had holes in them, the vehicle was not clean, and the tires were almost bald. These are exactly the kinds of issues I was trying to avoid by purchasing through a dealership rather than buying from a private seller. After buying the car, I should not have had to immediately think about spending additional money on detailing and new tires. There were also mechanical and safety-related concerns that came up right away. One of the daytime running lights was out, and the low tire pressure indicator kept coming on. When I brought up these concerns, most of them were dismissed. The only issue they agreed to address was the daytime running light. Even then, it took weeks of me repeatedly reaching out before the dealership finally honored that commitment. What made the situation even more frustrating is that I had specifically asked them to check the wiring in that particular area of the car, but that concern was also dismissed at the time. Eventually, I was told the problem was in fact a wiring issue, which only added to my frustration because it confirmed that my concern should have been taken more seriously from the beginning. Again, I do like my car, and I do believe there are nice people working at First Texas Honda. But liking the car does not erase the disappointment of feeling dismissed after raising legitimate concerns. A dealership experience should not leave a customer feeling like they have to chase people down for weeks just to get a promised repair completed. It also should not leave a customer immediately paying out of pocket for things that should have been addressed before the vehicle was sold. I went to First Texas Honda expecting professionalism, transparency, and peace of mind. Instead, I left feeling frustrated, unheard, and financially burdened after the purchase. I hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously and improves how they inspect used vehicles, communicate with customers, and follow through on commitments after the sale.

I recently purchased my 2015 Honda CR-V from another dealership in December 2025. Around March 2026, I started having issues with the emission system. I brought my car into First Texas Honda, and Zander Sickles welcomed me into the service center. He reassured me that they'd resolve the issue and guided me through the car rental process. My car was at the dealership for a week, not because of hefty repairs, but because Zander had to work overtime to get a response from my warranty company. Once I gave him all the necessary information, Zander took control of the situation and had my warranty company cover most of the repair costs. He provided text updates the entire time, so I never wondered what was going on. Zander truly exceeded my expectations and provided excellent service. If you need results, he's your guy. I'd also like to thank Carina Oliva, the skilled technician who inspected my car, for her detailed inspection and video summary. The video was super helpful. As someone who hates taking her car into the shop, everyone at First Texas Honda made it an enjoyable experience.
