Honda manufactures cars, SUVs, trucks, and vans for an exceptional driving experience with reliable, long-lasting durability. Honda models have an integrated Maintenance Minder that monitors operating conditions, such as the engine’s speed, RPMs, temperature, and mileage since the last oil change, giving drivers the remaining oil life by percentage and when the oil needs to be changed. Honda also programs the Maintenance Minder system with recommended factory maintenance intervals services to signal drivers when they need to schedule routine maintenance. The Maintenance Minder is a super-convenient innovation that removes the time, effort, and mistakes involved in constantly comparing your Honda’s current mileage to the recommended maintenance intervals in the owner’s manual and scheduling essential maintenance on time.
Newer Honda models have a small yellow wrench icon on the dashboard instrument panel that illuminates a specific number and letter representing the maintenance due. Older Honda models illuminate a number and letter combination that signals when it’s time to schedule factory-recommended maintenance. When the wrench symbol or letter/number combination appears, press the select/reset button to view the code. Honda models have several additional warning lights related to reliability and safety malfunctions with the brake system, low oil pressure, tire pressure monitoring system, engine overheating, power steering, vehicle stability assist system, and check engine light.
